Community-wide WASH awareness campaign promoting clean water, sanitation practices, and bio-sand filter usage across villages in UC Kurkuli.
Indus Welfare Association organized a comprehensive WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) awareness campaign across multiple villages in UC Kurkuli. The campaign educated community members on the importance of clean drinking water, proper sanitation facilities, and hygiene practices. Demonstrations were held showing the usage and maintenance of bio-sand filters that have been installed in 100 households benefiting 743 community members. The campaign also highlighted the impact of the 25 community latrines constructed in 5 villages and the improvements made to village pavements and sanitation infrastructure. Health professionals and community health workers participated in educating families about waterborne diseases and prevention methods.
